wide open spaces. good walking and bike trail. disgusting portable toilet.

It's decent for Springfield. It's so far out, it's not reachable for those without cars and it's extremely dark (and unsafe) at night.

Very quiet and secluded. Has a hill that has a beautiful view of the city and the sky great for watching the sunrise or sunset.

Nice playground with lots of space. Could use better maintenance, too bad about the fountain.

I love this park! I take my granddaughter to the playground often. Also, my daughter and I love to walk/run the Sangamon Valley trail that starts there. It is a beautiful trail for walking, running, or biking. And don't forget about conquering the giant hill as an added challenge!
